Less Repetitive Work

AI Agents in Omaha
ECS builds and manages AI agents that take on intake, lookup, and routine workflow work. We run AI agents in our own service desk, so we set yours up with the same security, access controls, and human review.

Why Omaha Businesses Work With ECS on AI Agents
Hand the reading, sorting, and looking-up to an agent so people spend their time on decisions.
Agents use your identities, permissions, and data rules, set up by the team that manages them.
You decide what an agent may do alone and what needs a person to approve.
An Omaha team that builds, monitors, and fixes the agents after launch.

What We Build
We start with one workflow, measure it, and expand only once it earns its keep.
Tickets, email, web forms
Read incoming requests, classify them, gather the context a person would look up, and route them to the right queue.
Invoices, forms, applications
Pull the fields you need out of documents and put them into the system they belong in, with exceptions sent to a person.
Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
Answer employee questions from your approved policies, procedures, and documentation, respecting who can see what.
CRM, PSA, accounting, and line-of-business apps
Carry a task across systems: create the record, update the status, draft the follow-up, and ask for approval where required.
Completed work
Check finished work against your standards and flag anything that needs a second look.
Identity, logging, approvals
Each agent gets its own account, scoped access, and a record of what it did, managed by ECS.
How We Use AI Agents Ourselves
We don't sell AI agents we haven't run ourselves. This is how our own support desk runs today.
When a support request reaches ECS, an AI triage agent reads it first. It classifies the issue, adds the client, user, and device context a technician would otherwise look up, and routes it to the right team.
Tickets that fall inside a defined set of routine request types can be assigned to one of our AI agents. The agent works the ticket in the same PSA workflow our technicians use. Anything outside that set, or anything flagged for escalation, goes to a person.
When a ticket is sent for quality review, a separate agent checks it and passes it, fails it, or escalates it to a person. The agent that did the work never grades itself.
Agents work under their own named accounts, and their notes and actions land in the ticket history where our technicians can review them.
An AI agent is software that uses a language model to take steps toward a goal, not just answer a question. It can read a request, look up information in your systems, decide what to do next, and take an action such as updating a record or drafting a reply, within limits you set.
Omaha businesses can hire automation agencies, software developers, or their managed IT provider. ECS Technology Solutions is an Omaha-based managed IT and cybersecurity company that builds and manages AI agents, and runs AI agents in its own service desk. Because ECS also manages identity, security, and Microsoft 365 for its clients, the agents are set up on the same controls as the rest of the environment.
Yes. Every support ticket that reaches ECS goes through an AI triage agent that classifies it, adds context, and routes it. Tickets in a defined set of routine request types can be worked by one of our AI agents, and a separate agent reviews tickets sent to quality review. Technicians handle everything outside that set and review the agents' work.
The best early candidates are high-volume tasks with clear rules: sorting and routing inbound requests, pulling data out of documents, answering employee questions from approved documentation, and moving information between systems. We start with one workflow, measure it, and expand from there.
Each agent gets its own account with only the access its job needs, and its actions are logged. We decide with you which actions an agent can take alone and which need a person to approve, and we keep sensitive data out of tools that are not approved for it. It is the same identity and access work ECS already does for Microsoft 365 and the rest of your environment.
We choose the platform based on your data, security requirements, and existing licenses. That can mean Microsoft 365 Copilot for work that lives in Microsoft 365, or models from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic for custom agents.
That is not how we use them. In our own service desk, agents take the lookup and routing work so technicians spend more time on problems that need judgment. We recommend the same approach to clients.
It depends on the workflow, the systems involved, and how much review the work needs. We scope it after a short discovery conversation about one specific workflow, so the estimate reflects real work rather than a generic package.
Bring the task your team repeats most. We'll walk through what an agent would do, what it would need access to, and where a person should stay in the loop.
